Instructions of use
The 0°C eutectic plates need to be charged beforehand by placing them in the -18°C freezer for a minimum of 24 hours. Depending on the total quantity of plates to be charged and the power of your freezer, a period of 48h -or more- may be necessary to fully charge your eutectic plate.
To facilitate and accelerate the recharging of your eutectic plates, remember to leave a space between each plate to let the air circulate between them during their freezing.

Tips
A plate is fully charged when all the liquid in the block has become solid. To know if the eutectic gel is properly frozen and ready to use, you can shake the plate and if you hear the liquid moving inside, the plate still needs to rest in the freezer.
Recommandation
For your organization and your uses concerning the eutectic plates, we advise you to have two, even three sets of plates to ensure an effective rotation. When the first set is used in your isothermal box, the second set is in the freezer to allow time for the gel to store cold.
Constitution
The eutectic plates have a rigid outer shell made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) to resist impact, compression and puncture. These shells are filled with the 0°C eutectic liquid and then closed with a crimped cap.
Robust
The eutectic plates are very strong thanks to their reinforced corners and anchoring points.
Food contact
The eutectic plates are made of polyethylene, a non-toxic and environmentally friendly material.
The 0°C eutectic plates comply with the NF EN 12546-3 standard “Materials and articles in contact with foodstuffs – Insulating containers for domestic use – Part 3: specification for thermal accumulators.”
Installation of the plates
For their handling, we recommend that you bring a pair of protective gloves for the cold when you use your plates after freezing. Also, when you insert your eutectic plate in your isothermal container, we advise you to place it in the upper part of your isothermal container, since the cold tends to go down. If this is not possible, place your plates on the sides before placing them at the bottom.
